... after they are in a relationship?
This was today's topic in Mix.fm which caught my attention. It was obvious that a lot of women callers this morning that commented on this topic or rather protecting their rights for the change in them when they get into a relationship.
You may say "no one can change me" or "changes don't come overnight", however, somehow people do change without realising it. Yes, you are who you are. But, believe me, people around you who made the person you are. It is important that you know who are hanging out because being with these people will allow you to form your personality and that is what makes us all different.
So to the topic; Yes, women do change and so do their other half. The thing is men don't usually admit that they have changed when they are in a relationship. Generally, we stand as an individuals and we only think for ourselves. When we are a couple, we think of the other and you think and act as a dual, not singleton. Both can make a wiser decision with comprehensive layout of ideas and opinions, so it is challenging and exciting to do thing as a pair.
Perhaps the only downfall of being in a relationship is that the couple may be too preoccupied between themselves and ignored their surroundings. When bad time comes, either one will find it difficult to connect with anyone else. As much as every couple would want to spend their utmost time together, they shouldn't forget the friends and family. At your most down time, you will seek for a friend to listen and talk to you.
A couple who change while in their relationship usually is a good thing. They want to improve things they've done in their life, and now they can do it with their partners. If change is for good, I don't see why others would think that "you cannot change because of your partner".
Speaking of which... No man is an island.
Hello world, are you still around?
